Grants Explained Simply.

The government wants to pay you to insulate your home. Here is exactly how much you can claim and how to qualify.

Age of Home

Your home must have been built and occupied before 2011 for insulation grants.

You must not have already used an SEAI grant for the same work (e.g., you cannot do walls twice).

Use a Pro

You must use a registered SEAI contractor like McGee Insulation to do the work.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to pay the full amount upfront?
Depending on the grant type, you generally pay the contractor the net cost (the total minus the grant amount), and the SEAI pays the grant directly to the registered contractor. We will explain the exact payment structure during your free survey.
Does McGee Insulation handle the SEAI paperwork?
Yes. As a registered SEAI contractor serving the North West, we assist our customers through the entire grant application process to ensure it is stress-free.
